Polypropylene composite

Polypropylene composite

Composite is a specially designed filter material that consists of many layers of polypropylene nonwoven fabrics.
Nonwoven fabrics differ in production technology, mechanical properties, basis weight and thickness.

First of all, they have different air resistances and different filtration efficiencies.

Optimal composite structure

Polypropylene PP non-woven fabric made using meltblown technology is the main filtration material - the filter.

A pre-filter made of another PP material creates a protective layer for the filter. The prefilter prevents the filter from sticking to other composite layers, which allows it to maintain its filtration properties throughout the entire period of use.

The outer layers of the composite are made of spunbond nonwoven fabrics, which increase the mechanical strength of the composite (longitudinal and transverse).

Products made of polypropylene composite

The polypropylene composite is used to produce, for example, air conditioning filters, in particular to produce pockets, which are the basic part of such filters.

The type of filter (M5, F7, etc.) depends on the specific properties, primarily of the filter fabric - filter.

Market

Polypropylene composite is basic semi-finished product for the production of filter pockets. Whether the manufacturer of air conditioning filters uses it in the form of a single layer for sewing or welds it into a sleeve or ready-made pockets depends on the equipment of a specific plant.
